Mach1 Motorsport, based in Beresfield, NSW, Australia, has completed a notable engine swap on this BMW E30. The factory M20 inline-four engine has been replaced with a turbocharged 2.5 L Toyota 1JZ inline-six engine, featuring a Hypertune intake manifold, Garrett G30-660 turbocharger, Turbosmart 45 mm wastegate, and Link ECU. The build includes custom mounts, a custom intercooler, radiator, stainless steel exhaust, and reinforced subframes. Power is transferred through a PMC Motorsport adapter and clutch kit to a BMW five-speed manual transmission.
