
1989 BMW E30 Race Car
This 1989 BMW 325i has been transformed into an ICSCC Pro3-spec race car by Portland-based tuner Rhom Innovations. It features a race-prepped 2.5L M20 inline-six engine, a rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission with a Clutch Masters racing clutch, and a variable-ramp limited-slip differential. The suspension setup includes Koni double-adjustable coilovers and Ground Control camber plates. Exterior enhancements include a repaint from Cirrus Blue to a darker shade and Team Dynamics 15” racing wheels with Toyo Proxes RR tires. Interior modifications for racing include a Sparco bucket seat with a four-point harness, a full roll cage with NASCAR bars, and stripped interior, equipped with a Traqmate data computer and AutoMeter gauges. Additional race-ready features include a Traq Mate data computer, brake cooling ducts, and an aluminum fuel system.
