250hp Super-ETA BMW Hartge H3 E21
This 1981 BMW Hartge H3 is a street-legal race car that participated in the 1999 One Lap of America, winning its class. Built by Ed Dellis, it features a 2.8L Super-ETA stroker motor with a ported 325i big-valve head, Schrick 304 cam, and TWM 40mm throttle bodies. The car sports a close-ratio 5-speed transmission and adjustable Wilwood brakes. Suspension upgrades include a Hartge strut bar, adjustable coilovers, and Bilstein shocks. The exterior is modified with a FOHA rear spoiler, vented front spoiler with brake ducting, and Borbet wheels with Toyo tires. It retains a sporty feel with a quick-ratio steering rack and several racing-specific interior enhancements.
