Datsun 240Z Tribute by Paulo Tabora
This beautifully restored Datsun 240Z, guided by Paulo Tabora, is more than just a car; it's a tribute to his late father. The build process was catalyzed by the passing of Tabora's father, leading to the car's debut at SEMA 2022. The vehicle sports a Porsche Olive Green paint, capturing the classic lines of this Japanese coupe. The heart of the car is a built L28 engine paired with Triple Solex Nismo 44phh carburetors, showcasing both a nod to vintage performance and personal significance, with a red powder-coated valve cover. The car sits on Work Equip 03 wheels with suspension and brake upgrades from Techno Toy Tuning and Wilwood respectively. Inside, the cabin features reupholstered Recaro LX seats with Alcantara inserts and modern SpeedHut gauges. Important personal touches include Paulo’s father’s signature on the key touch points, making each drive a sentimental journey. Assisted by JBZ Classics, the restoration was completed swiftly, involving numerous partners who contributed out of love and support.
