1995 Pontiac Firebird "OMGBOOST" by Lauren Eades
Lauren Eades, a former competitive horse jumper, turned to car racing after suffering a back injury. Her journey into racing was fueled by her husband Stephen’s passion for cars, and it led her to build a 1995 Pontiac Firebird, nicknamed "OMGBOOST." The vehicle, originally a Trans Am roller, underwent significant modifications with the help of Stephen and Kevin at TKM Performance. At the heart of the build is a boosted LS engine, starting with a machined LM7 block. Key specs include Wiseco pistons, a Tick Performance turbo cam, and a Bullseye Power S483 turbocharger. The drivetrain is complemented by a Midwest Chassis 9-inch rear end and Viking Performance shocks. The car’s exterior remains mostly stock, with standout features like a fender exit exhaust and Billet Specialties Street Lite wheels. Now ever more competitive on the drag strip, Lauren has achieved personal bests in the low 5-second range for the eighth-mile.
