1991 Nissan 240SX by Nikolay Konstantinov
Nikolay Konstantinov, a former Formula DRIFT competitor, has crafted a 1991 Nissan 240SX hatchback to pay tribute to the JDM drifting icon, Yoshinori Koguchi. The car embodies Nikolay's passion for drift culture and his admiration for Japanese engineering. It is powered by a 340whp SR20DET engine and features unique customization elements such as one of only two Ikeya Formula aero kits in the United States for a 180 hatch. This build also incorporates rare JDM components like Abflug headlights and an ARC airbox. To further enhance its drifting capabilities, Nikolay has equipped the 240SX with a five-speed Samsonas gearbox, initially intended for another project. Painted in Audi's Sonoma Green, the car maintains a clean aesthetic reminiscent of high-quality Honda builds, aimed at honoring Koguchi's legacy. The meticulous craftsmanship reflects Nikolay's dedication, and he envisions one day having Koguchi drive the car at Japan's Nikko Circuit. The build serves as a testament to Nikolay's lasting connection to the drift scene and his family's shared love for the S-chassis.
