1975 Chevrolet C10 "The Race Truck" by MRC Fabrication
This unique 1975 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck has been transformed into a pro touring masterpiece by Jimmy Bullard and his team at MRC Fabrication. Aptly named "The Race Truck," the build utilizes a custom tube-frame chassis designed and assembled in-house, with a focus on high performance and aesthetic appeal. The vehicle's impressive drivetrain is powered by a 525hp LS3-based engine from Robert Yates Racing, developed for competitive racing. A custom transmission from Andrews Products and a Tilton quadruple disc clutch complete the powertrain assembly. The C10 features a heavily modified chassis, using MRC Fabrication's billet spindles and a Winters quick-change rear end, alongside Hydroshox suspension technology that combines the benefits of air-ride and coilover systems. The body incorporates factory components like the cab and grille, with custom carbon fiber and sheet metal panels to complement the aggressive Gloss and flat black aesthetic. Riding on MRC-designed "Outlaw" wheels wrapped in Hoosier R7 tires, the truck is equipped with Wilwood 15-inch brakes for superior stopping power. Inside, the cab includes a custom carbon fiber dash, seats, and a digital dash from Holley to maintain a high-tech racing interior.
