1971 Datsun 1200 "EL Barón" by Erick Aguilar

The vehicle is powered by a Honda F22C engine, commonly found in the Honda S2000, paired with a Comp Turbo 72mm turbocharger. The engine management system relies on an AEM EMS Series 2, and there are several modifications including a custom tubular exhaust manifold, a water-to-air intercooler setup, and high-capacity Skunk2 components. The suspension was heavily reworked from its original build setup. The vehicle's weight distribution has been adjusted with a fabricated 3-gallon fuel cell in the engine bay, and weight ballasts are considered to prevent the front tires from lifting during drag runs. The Datsun 1200 weighs 2,150 lbs with the driver onboard.
