BMW E30 Track Car

Kimball Racing transformed their 1984 BMW 318i (E30) by swapping the factory 1.8 L M10B18 inline-four for a 2.5 L M20B25 inline-six engine producing approximately 170 hp and 164 lb-ft of torque. Accompanying the engine swap is a Getrag 260 five-speed manual transmission. This modified BMW E30 was showcased at Thunderbolt Raceway during a MassTuning Test & Tune event.
